Katy Perry Super Bowl performance 2015: Super Bowl tattoo

Katy Perry performed at The Super Bowl halftime show last night and has marked the occasion by getting a tattoo.
Check out her new ink here…
The Roar performer took to the stage halfway through the American football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots at the University of Phoenix and dedicated the performance to her younger self.
She tweeted earlier in the day: "Today is for this girl. She had the dream, always believed in herself & her worth. Today she is the one smiling."
The 30-year-old performer - whose parents are both Pentecostal pastors - added she will be celebrating "the day that the Lord has made".
Katy wrote: "Today is the day that the Lord has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it!"
Katy Perry was joined on stage by Fly Away singer Lenny Kravitz, and Missy Elliott also joined her on stage.
The singer, who has her own collection for Claire's, wore three custom made looks from Jeremy Scott's collection and a finale gown by Moschino for her halftime performance.
Talking about Katy's patent leather flame mini dress with cut outs and glitter gold leather appliqué detail, Jeremy Scott said: "I wanted something strong, powerful, and iconic for Katy's entrance."
After Katy's epic performance, there is ONE person who is getting some flack - one of her dancers.
It turns out the left shark didn't know his dance moves quite as well as the right shark...

If we needed any more reasons to be excited for the Super Bowl, Katy Perry headlining is a pretty good one.
And the NFL have confirmed that this will indeed be happening, saying the show would be "an unprecedented multimedia, global announcement," and released this video featuring an excitable Katy explaining all her ideas for the show.
It includes some super-cute kittens, blow-up dolls and fire-breathing sharks (don't ask), as well as some convenient Pepsi product placement.
Katy also tweeted her excitement, writing:
The show will be aired on Feburary 1st... we are super-excited to see Katy doing her thing.
On Friday 10 October 2014, we wrote...Katy Perry has landed herself one of the biggest live gigs on the annual US calendar; it has been confirmed that the pop star will play next year's Super Bowl halftime show.
The Dark Horse singer was reportedly shortlisted for the gig along with Rihanna and Coldplay but has now been pinned down for the gig according to Billboard.
Last year's show saw a record 111.5million audience tune in to watch Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, sparking rumours that the football league might consider charging artists to perform in front of such a television audience.
It seems they may have decided against it, however, as when asked to comment, Perry recently told ESPN "I'm not the kind of girl that would pay to play the Super Bowl."
Previous performers include Beyoncé, Madonna and the Black Eyed Peas. Payment controversy aside, we're expecting Fireworks* from next year's show.
